Sermorelin

GH Secretagogue

Also known as: GHRH 1-29, GRF 1-29

Overview

Sermorelin is a synthetic version of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It was the first GHRH analogue approved by the FDA for treating GH deficiency in children.

Mechanism of Action

Sermorelin binds to GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland, stimulating the production and release of GH. Unlike synthetic HGH, sermorelin works through the body's natural feedback mechanisms, preserving pituitary function.
